International NeuroHIV Cure Consortium (INHCC) Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) 2024 Summer Program

INHCC's Inaugural Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Summer Program immerses high school and/or community college students, from groups historically underrepresented in neurosciences, into a 6-8 week fully funded mentoring program and successful applicants will benefit and receive a stipend during their internship designed to introduce them to brain investigation studies (neurosciences). Mentors at each site will provide their mentee with experiential research and knowledge building activities. Collaboratively, the mentors will contribute to career development & professional skill building across the cohort of mentees. Several of the INHCC’s 25+ global collaborators will contribute to a virtual seminar series covering topics on neuroHIV. We will continue to monitor & adhere to COVID guidance and modify our plans as needed.
